The Fleece Cover is a rectangle fleece liner that can be used year round - as an accessory or as a standalone bag. It is a great "accessory", even if you already have several bags. It can help add extra warmth on those extra cold nights. As a standalone bag, it can be used in warmer temperatures when you only need a very lightweight bag. With a bag that works, whether it is warm or cold, and with mummy or rectangle bags, you can't go wrong with this choice... a value that lasts all year long!
Note: We do not give specific temperature ratings to our rectangle bags. While our industry is fairly consistent with mummy bag ratings, it has a huge range when it comes to rectangle bags. If you want to compare our bags warmth to another one, we suggest you compare the amount of fill (insulation) and the type of construction. If you are looking for a fleece sleeping bag you can't go wrong with this one. It rolls up nicely with the attached loops and stores fairly small. It comes with in a nylon sack, but the sack does not compress the bag. Luckily for me though this sleeping bag fits into my down sleeping bag's compression sack for when I need to fit it in my pack. That being said even without a copressable sack, this isn't a large bag and won't take up that much room.
I have only used this on warm (70 degrees plus) nights and it has kept me warm. I don't know if I want to be in this bag if it gets much cooler but it is perfect for the summer months around my house.
My down bag can fit inside this bag on cold nights too for a little extra warmth. I haven't actually had to do this yet so I'm not sure exactly how much extra warmth it will provide but it should provide some.
