The Air Pad Armour by ALPS is a relatively new idea in the air pad category. Think of it like you do a floor saver for a tent. It's extra protection for your pad. If there is any sharp objects (twigs, rocks, etc.) that your pad lays on, the Air Pad Armour will be another layer to protect your pad, so it will hopefully not get punctured. It is the length of your pad and has "pockets" on each end for the pad to slide into, to hold it into place. Why wouldn't you want to extend the life of your air pad?!
