Tri-Leg Stool
i used this stool for the Olympic games games during the opening ceremonies. i was able to save my legs from three and half hours of standing and kept my legs fresh so that i could win the Olympic bronze medal in the shot put. i weight over 325 pounds and the straps on the bottom kept the stool together without a problem. the looks on the faces and commits from Carmelo Anthony, where priceless if he had any money in his pocket he would have given it all to me because he was hurting. i hope the US Olympic committee invest in this chair for all the USA athletes because if they do not all the athletes that walked with me will now buy them because this is a great product.

Camp Chair
I got sick of chairs that cut into the backs of my legs. Finally a chair that you can sit in for long periods of time. And you can actually get back out of this chair, even with bad knees. I love it.

King Kong Chair
I have to say, this is the best chair I've ever bought! I've been on the market for a good quality chair, and I've finally found it! As they say in the description, this chair is sturdy. I'm a bigger guy and I'm sick of buying a new chair each season because the cheap ones break. It may be a little more expensive than a Wal-Mart type chair, but the quality doesn't even compare. In the end, I'll be saving money because I have a chair that will actually last. Thank you ALPS and Sportsman's Warehouse for carrying a great chair!

Camp Cot
My wife bought this cot for me for my birthday last month and I have to give her credit, she picked out something I will use and I really like it so far. It's sturdier and wider than cots I've used in the past and it folds up and fits really compact into the carry bag. This cot will go on my list of favorite birthday presents! I can't wait to get out and use it again.

Mesh Getaway Chair
I purchased these chairs to sit at my son's baseball games (and now football games) and they are soooooo comfortable! They are nice and reclined, so that you can sit comfortably in them for hours. I love the cupholder and the cooler is a nice place to store snacks/cameras/etc. We have used them at the beach/lake too and they are a great height.

Camp Cot
I love this cot - I've had it for about 6 months now and it has been a back saver. I will never be sleeping on the ground (or without my cot) again. I first bought it to use camping for a weekend getaway. What a difference it made to the whole experience. I felt like I was sleeping in a bed rather than in a tent! I put my air pad down on top of the cot and had a great nights sleep. Now when my son comes home from out of town, we get out the trusty cot instead of sleeping on an air mattress. He agrees that it's great! Very strong and would recommend!

Weekender
i found these to be more helpful in stadium seating, so that your bum doesn't hurt watching a football game or concert. it's great to lean back into the chair, too. my version is a bit older, no mesh, but it still works well!

Weekender
Absolutely worth the price. Bought it for camping, but I end up using it as a chair inside more often than not. Makes a good bed-top chair for when you're banging out emails or blogging. At the moment, I have it pinned into the wall on top of a really old backless chair that I repurposed. Once these are back in stock I'll probably snag another to keep in the back of my truck. These are one of those items that always comes in handy.

Eclipse Table
I have been a long-time user of folding tables and find them to be a nice addition for having when I want to eat/drink and place items I want access to when lounging at home or in the outdoors and as a footstool. Previous tables have had the drink holder on the table surface and it has been my experience that this is not the best location, so I was intrigued when I saw what ALPS Mountaineering has designed. After one-month of use I find that I really appreciate this dual-layer design. With the glass or water bottle out of the way, the table surface is completely usable without having to dodge the drink holder, as with the previous all-in-one tables. Access to the lower drink holder is very practical too. I just placed an order for a second Eclipse Table. One thing the picture does not show is the storage pocket for small items and books/magazines. Nice touch, just wish it could be removable. Having purchased other ALPS Mountaineering products within the past six months I am very pleased with the quality, price and design of what they are producing.

Leisure Chair
These chairs are great. Don't sink in the seat and the solid arms actually offer a comfortable arm rest. Seem sturdy and should last a long time.

Leisure Chair
I've got a bad back and need a little lean back. I've owned several chairs that have all eventually collapsed. This chair is built to last. It's a bit heavy but it's not breaking. I take it to airshows where you can often sit for several hours. It's very comfortable. The only drawback is the attention I get from having such a nice chair. Folks around me want to know the details.

Directors Chair
I was looking for a comfortable chair (s) to take with me to outdoor summer concerts & activities. FOUND IT! This is the most durable, comfortable chair ever made. Worth every penny!

Directors Chair
I had plenty of flimsy folding chairs. I need one that was really sturdy & comfy. Hated to spend this much - but this chair is really worth it, very solid and well made. I know I will have it for a very long time. The steel is a little heavier, but worth it. In addition to camping, it will be used for extra seating at backyard parties.

Tri-Leg Navy
This is perfect for hiking. It's very light weight. The carrying case is great. I've only used it a couple of times so far. Much better than sitting on the ground or a rock once you hike to a peak.

Eclipse Table
We purchased this item from Amazon.com and we are always satisfied with the way they handle and deliver products. We used the Alps Mountaineering Eclipse at a tailgating party. The cup holders underneath the table was a great idea. We played checkers and cards. The table worked except for a little wind while playing cards. My only suggestion would be to make the Alps Mountaineering Eclipse a little wider for card playing. The table still worked with 4 people playing cards. We rated it 4 1/2 stars. I would recommend to others to buy. This item is a great investment for your outdoor entertainment and can be used indoors.

Eclipse Table
LOVE THE CAMPING TABLE-IT'S LARGE, STURDY, AND THE CHECKERBOARD ON TOP JUST ADDS TO THE SUMMER FUN. I WILL USE IT FOR PLAYING CARDS AND SUCH WHILE SUMMER CAMPING. THE DRINK HOLDERS ON THE BOTTOM ARE AN ADDED BONUS.

Titan Cot Large
We purchased these over a year ago and have used them 10+ times. These cots are easy to set up, sturdy and comfortable. The added height makes them easy to get in and out. The fabric has just the right amount of stretch for me at 5'11" and 230 lbs it didn't sag but did give a little under my hips and shoulders. I will continue to recommend these cots. In a nutshell, they are great.

Titan Cot Large
This cot was easy to assemble for a 71 year old man ALONE! the parts fit together easily and provided an exactly flat stand with no tipping or tilting, the only thing I missed was my short legs :) they barely reach the floor so it is necessary for me to sort of LEAP off the edge, however the cot is very stable and provides a safe launching pad for me to jump off :) seriously, there is a few inches of space under my feet when seated on the cot, however, it is easy to move on the very generous large surface area to sleep on, and the legs are securely in place on my linoleum tile floor without any moving to allow safe standing from a seated position on the cot, more comfortable for my aging body than any cot or bed that I had in the past, a warm feel to the fabric makes for a dreamy sleep :) the flat sleeping surface is exactly what my aging bones needed.

Dining Table Square
wow. This table is amazing. I've used it several times to set a small grill on while in the park for picnics and it works like a champ. It's light enough that anyone could easily carry it, and it wipes down clean after ever use. I'm considering buying a second one just to have when the first one dies! The one thing that took some getting used to was how to fold up the tabletop when repacking the thing. It won't make sense now, but fold it up two slats at a time (like an accordion) and you'll be fine.

Riverside Chair
This chair blows Coleman out of the water! I am currently undergoing chemo and my husband was taking a Coleman chair to be by my side. In 2 weeks we went through 2 chairs due to poor quality of the fabric and rubber stoppers. The Riverside chair is very sturdy, fit for the heavier adult and comes with a convienient carrying bag. Highly recommend!

Riverside Chair
First of all, i am a casual to moderate camper, i go at least once a year. I've used many chairs, but have never been fully satisfied with them. This chair changed that. I had ZERO complaints about this chair, its sturdy, very comfortable, looks good, and it feels like it will last a long long time. I am 315 pounds, and 6'2, so any chair i use has got some work to do. This chair was wide enough to keep me comfortably snug, it felt sturdier than ever and even when my smaller friends sat in the chair they didn't feel it was too big for them, they often tried to steal my seat it was so comfortable. Basically what I'm trying to say is, i love it and i think you will too.

Fold Up Table Combo
This is such a wonderful item. I just love it. I even bought a second one because I liked it so much and now I can have eight people over for dinner on my balcony. I agree with the earlier reviewer who said, "This is a cool design that is engineered very well. I think it is a perfect height and sturdiness that can seat four adults comfortably. Every detail has been considered in its foldability and size." I totally agree with that guy. I just moved into a new apartment with a large balcony, but I didn't want to spend the cash or time on expensive patio furniture, so I found this fold up table and bench combo on Amazon and I took a chance and ordered it. OMG, I love it. It was really easy to assemble, and with a white tablecloth it looks elegant. The whole thing, table and benches, folds up into this cute little suitcase (like a violin case) which doubles as cushions for the benches. It's just so cute and lightweight and functional. And I can easily fold it all up into the suitcase and store it under my bed during the winter. Very cool product. I couldn't love it more. Thanks!

Fold Up Table Combo
When I got the package I was amazed how light it was considering all that it is. This is a cool design that is engineered very well. I think it is a perfect height and sturdiness that can seat four adults comfortably. Every detail has been considered in its foldability and size. We have had the heavy plastic kind that leaves you cramped and too restricted. We are very happy with this purchase. I can't imagine a product being any better for our needs. Pleased in Pasadena!

Escape Chair
I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it we took it camping and everyone over the weekend was fighting to sit in it, we all loved it and it was so comfy you could take a nap, and what was cool is you could adjust the foot step closer if your short or further if your tall which worked out great for all of us.

King Kong Chair
Even if you aren't an 800-pound gorilla, this chair is still for you! I literally went to EVERY sporting goods store in the Northeast Ohio area and tried EVERY make and model of camping chair at any price. Even the $40 chairs at Dick's Sporting Goods can't compare to this chair. If you have anyone that is more than 250 pounds, you want this chair! It is very, very sturdy and has very durable fabric. It is a bit heavy, so don't get it if you are trying to pack light or can't carry much around on your shoulder/back. It does have two straps on the carrying case so that you can carry it like a backback. I bought this for my husband who is in excess of 300 pounds. In most chairs, he felt like it was going to flip when he tried to get out of it. He also felt like they would rip over time. Well, this one does NOT have that issue. Best part is the arm rests are adjustable so you can raise and lower them to wherever feels the best. It's definitely worth the little bit of extra money to have this great chair that should last a lifetime. Only complaint is it doesn't say KING KONG anywhere on it! :(

King Kong Chair
This thing is a Monster! The tubing walls are about 4 times thicker than average chairs and it sits like a throne. I think King Kong AND Faye Wray would fit in it at the same itme. The front tube supports make a huge difference in how sturdy it is. I'm a big guy and I can sprawl out in it and dangle a leg over the side easily.

King Kong Chair
Being a big man (60" waist) folding chairs were something I never even considered until I stumbled across the Alps Mountaineering King Kong chair. Didn't really believe the claims it made, but decided to take a chance and buy one any way. Now I'm purchasing my second and maybe third because past history has pretty much proved that if something is really good and useful for a big man - they will stop making it. And this chair is really good. Rock steady, sturdy and easy to use. An earlier reviewer mentioned it was not easy to get out of, but I found that not to be so. I put both hands on the rear legs and shift my weight front and then put my hands on top of the front legs and easily lift myself out of the chair. The only change I would suggest is that the carry bag be a little bigger. The chair has a lot of canvas to put into the bag. It does fit, but can be a bit of a chore sometimes trying to get it all in the bag. A small complaint and to be honest, hardly worth mentioning. I would buy this chair even if it did not come with a bag - it is that good.

Lightweight Cot
These cots are very comfy. Seem sturdy. We have only used them once so far but they seem to constructed well. I like the fact that there are no bars going across your back. Great purchase bought to use camping.

Lightweight Cot
My husband and I purchased these to upgrade from our thin sleeping pads for car camping. I was a little worried about set-up after reading the reviews, so rather than waiting for my husband to try to assemble, I decided to give it a shot myself. For background -- I'm a 30-something woman and am more of a reader than an exerciser; my upper body strength is nothing to brag about. I decided to give it a go to see how much I'd be able to help out when we set up at camp next week. It took me about 10 minutes to set up, and that was with a lot of instructions-reading and pondering. It is true -- there is strength required to get the poles in to the canvas, and also to get the legs into their holes. I noticed that by kneeling on the canvas and leveraging my full body weight into bending the leg into position, I was able to get the legs in fairly easily. I'm pleasantly surprised since, like I said above, I'm not particularly strong and I was able to do it myself quickly. In terms of the comfort level, the cot was very comfortable and will definitely be a game-changer on our future camping trips. I'll be sure to come back here and update my review after we sleep on them. UPDATE 2/4/12: We used these on a camping trip to Big Sur, California back in October, and they were indeed a game-changer! Extremely comfortable, like crawling into a warm cocoon at the end of a fantastic day in the great outdoors. I highly recommend.

Camp Chair
We bought two of these after searching through many Amazon reviews and trying chairs at your local sporting goods store. While they are more expensive than other folding chairs, they are very durable and worth the extra money. They are fairly lightweight, very comfortable, surely NOT flimsy, and of a good size (I am 6'1" tall). We use these for camping, baseball games, and just sitting out front talking with neighbors. Being an engineer, I can't help but look at things and evaluate durability, sturdiness, etc. So when I see a chair made of strong aluminum tubes with no plastic parts that take stress, I figure the chair should last. Especially when comparing them to folding chairs with the thin tubes in an X-pattern with plastic connectors and feet - they take too much stress and will crack/fail. How does the saying go...you get what you pay for! And older folks appreciate the sturdiness, especially if you need to push off the arms to stand. I intend to buy more so everyone in the family has one. The arm rest is foam (albeit comfortable), so be careful that it doesn't split/peel. But still a five star product when compared to the collapsable chairs with plastic parts.

Camp Chair
My latest fold-up 'leisure chair' once again broke, and I finally decided I wanted something sturdy. This chair is it. My hesitation on buying it was that I wasn't sure how comfortable it would be. Turns out the back actually has a slight angle to it (I didn't notice it in the picture at first) and this makes it much more comfortable than expected. You can lean back in it much the same way you can with one of the 'hammock' style fold up chairs. Also, the supports that hold up the upper back section of the chair are designed to slip out so you can fold the back onto the seat, then collapse the chair so it reduces the size of the folded up chair - a clever design. Clearly it's a very well made chair and very sturdy, due to the different fold out design. I camp a lot with my young kids and they can pile on my lap on this chair without fear of it breaking or tipping over. It also has a beverage holder on the side that hangs down from the seat, with a velcro strap that goes around the front chair leg -- works fine. Overall I'm very happy with this chair.

Camp Chair
We operate an amphitheater at our botanical garden and have a VIP section for which we are looking for some nice new chairs. I saw a camp chair on your site that looks pretty nice -- has a higher weight capacity, which is a great given that we may have some heavier patrons that we'd want to accomodate. We are looking for something that's not super wide so that we can fit a lot of chairs into the given space efficiently. We want something that is comfortable as people will be sitting through an entire concert. They need to be heavy duty as these will be used regularly for concerts so we want them to hold up. And a cup holder would be a great feature given that we have beverage sales.

Camp Stool
My husband and I were on our way to a group motorcycle ride along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia and I was also having trouble with my foot. So we stopped at an Outfitters store in Waynesboro and looked for a lightweight folding chair that we could carry on our motorcycle. We found the Alps Mountaineering camp stool - it was lightweight and yet could hold me when we took rests on our motorcycle trip. It fit quite nicely on the back of the motorcycle and actually doubled as a luggage rack to which we bungeed our cooler. Anyway, I thought you might like some positive feed back. I take the little stool with me everywhere we go for an instant way to sit and rest my foot. We took it with us to my son's soccer game today, so I'd have a place to sit. We have also used it for a little table when we have taken our picnic dinner to the beach. Thanks for a great and very useful product at an affordable price!

Camp Chair
I purchased two of the Camp Chairs late this summer. I am very pleased with the construction and quality of the product. They are extremely comfortable and look like they may out last any of the folding camp chairs I have had before. I am looking forward to more products built with the same quality and value from Alps Mountaineering.
