The Lynx 1 is loaded with features and is great for your solo getaway. With the freestanding design and pole clips that quickly attach to the aluminum poles, it sets up easily. There are extra-large #8 zippers on the door and vestibule. What's especially nice about the Lynx is that the walls are mostly mesh, which helps increase ventilation. To be sure no corners are cut, ALPS has the factory seal the fly and floor seams and coats the floor with 2000mm to keep you dry if you run into a rain shower.

Easy to Put UP!

Great tent. I am a 75-year-old crafter and take it to craft shows, camping in nearby campgrounds. 10 minutes does it. I use a rubber-backed rug under the fly entrance and a mate beyond that, as many camping spots are sandy or have pine needles. Only detraction is heavy rain. In future (which starts this week). I will put a solid rubber mat over the top if I spot rain clouds. Light rain is OK, but heavy rain depresses the top of the tent above the vents and allows rain to enter the vents.

Quality 1P Tent That's Light Weight

I've had this tent for 1yr and love it. Great build quality, easy to set up, somewhat light weight, comes with extras, simple & fast to assemble and disassemble, looks cool just needs more orange color in it. I'm 5'-9" 140lbs and I have more then enough room in top, bottom, left & right sides. Top easily slides over tent and so far hasn't leaked any water. I also purchased the Lynx 1 Floor Saver that goes under the tent and even tho it's just another thing layer of material it definitely helps protect the bottom of your tent and greatly helps keep the floor dry. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get into hiking & camping. Also this is a very affordable tent that should last a long time.
