Tasmanian 2-Person
2-person 4-season tent
The Tasmanian is a 4 season tent that is loaded with features. It uses 7000 series aluminum poles (one continuous pole system with hubs that reach end to end, and an additional pole that goes across the tent to help stabilize in strong winds). It also features a full-coverage fly with two vestibules to help store your gear. With an additional pole on the fly, it creates a very large vestibule on the front for even more gear storage. There are two doors (one on each end). The Tasmanian uses extra-large #8 zippers so opening doors and vestibules are a breeze every time. Year-round, this is a tent you can rely on!

Tasmanian 2 Review

Great tent! Lots of room. Favorite feature is that pockets stretch end to end on both sides. I was worried about getting hot, but there are plenty of ways to ventilate. This tent is a wind warrior. But there are two annoying poles that must be inserted into the rain fly for complete optimism. This s**t was the worse, you will cuss! But after that it’s golden.

Canadian camping and ice fishing

Had the Tasmanian 2 on the ice for a week in Ontario. One night got down to -18 F but with proper ventilation and a couple of good sleeping bags, we were good to go. There was just enough room for 2 of us, and when went to bed one night, it went from 5 F to 41F with just the body heat after one hour. It would have gotten 5 stars but the rain fly poles are just not user friendly. Having to run the poles through sleeves on the inside of the fly isn't ideal.
